Common Letters

It appears that the "scammers" have setup computer programs that scan the web all day long for emails and classified ads. They then send the typical Nigerian scam email. Please know your personal identity and security are not in danger. These people will not show up at your doorstep with a cashier's check. It is just an automated program.

Please note the "fill in the blank" look to these emails.

The interesting thing about the below email, is that the seller has a saddle for sale, not a horse!

The scam to have a third party shipper pick up the saddle or tack and they will pay with a cashier's check is still prevelant.  Most of these people are still claiming to be out of the country.
